ROEL®CONSTRUCTION CELEBRATES 50 YEARS of AGC SAN DIEGO CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP
San Diego, CA… ROEL Construction has a long history of serving the construction industry and 2009 marks 50-years of membership in the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) San Diego Chapter for the company.
ROEL has been a very active AGC-San Diego member over the past 50-years, including serving in various board positions nearly all of those years, and four previous presidents from ROEL:
- Paul S. Roel (1964)
- George H. Line (1984)
- John W. Elliott (1992 and 1997)
- Kevin J. Elliott (2009)
ROEL also honors two prior SIR award winners:
- Paul S. Roel
- John W. Elliott
“I am privileged to be serving as its president in this anniversary year,” said Kevin Elliott, this year’s chapter president, also President of ROEL Construction.
For years, the San Diego Chapter of AGC has led the nation in creative programs to benefit the local industry and has been recognized on many occasions. ROEL believes in giving back to the construction industry through its involvement in the AGC.
ROEL CEO, Wayne Hickey stated, “Our long-standing AGC membership has benefited us with educational programs, mentoring and strong partnerships within both the San Diego community and the building industry.”
